Part Time Distribution Assistant

Provide support to the Distribution Manager with SG’s door-to-door distribution and letterbox marketing services, setting up local teams and individuals within our operational area of Surrey, Berkshire and South West London to service our own requirements as well as outside contracts for leaflets and other letterbox marketing materials

Help promote our magazines through bulk drop pick up points in retail and hospitality businesses within our distribution boundaries. This will mainly mean promoting our wire baskets to estate agents, convenience stores, petrol stations and other public places.

Help train and instruct local distributors on how to carry out door-to-door distribution and use our tracking services. Oversee an ongoing recruitment campaign to ensure a full complement of casual distribution workers.

Take charge and implement recruitment drives where applicable in the business. This will include both our sales and production departments. You will need to be well spoken and confident and able to identify suitable candidates and respond quickly to any applications.

Work alongside the advertising team to gain new business.

Candidates need a full and clean driving license and should be computer literate/able to use mobile phone apps for tracking deliveries. This role is part office based and part out on distribution. Flexible hours to suit (minimum 16 hours per week, Monday to Friday).

Please note you will often be required to respond to recruitment applications and text messages outside of our normal office hours of 9.30am and 5.30pm.
